Help with ODT file??

Can anyone who has OpenOffice (word/writer) please take my file and block the text and send it to me at my e-mail address? I don't have openoffice anymore I have MS Office word and the converter programs I've used just give me jibberish. Any way I can send the ODT file to someone and have them either convert it or just give me the text?

ps. I use AntiVir Guard so the file should be clean.

No offense meant, but is there any reason you cant install OOffice on your computer and use it to convert your files?

Again, no offense is meant by this either, but I am kinda leary of getting files from people I don't know.

Thank you, no I completely understand about being leary.

After a hard-drive crash I really don't want to load a HUGE program like that on the new hard drive (just to erase it and all of the ramifications that can occur).

It's ok about the file. I'll find someway of rewriting what was on it. Didn't hurt to ask though.
