Help with picture attachements!

Hello, I hope someone can me with a serious problem, when ever I attach a picture to an email to send to someone it also attaches everything I have saved on my desktop and /or things from my temporary internet file from sites I have visted in the past, even when its been deleted first! This is most inappropriate for work related emails and sometimes very embarassing. Please help, running XP and use outlook express. Thanks, Karen*C.
