Help with Port Forwarding

    ok i don't have a router i have a firewall that came with windows Vista and just a plain cable modem how do i forward ports my downloading programs will download

    You only forward ports on a router actually. youll add exceptions on your firewall. go into windows firewall in control panel. click change settings. exceptions tab. then you can add port exceptions and programs from there. thatll tell your firewall not to block those ports/programs.
