help with PS2 and my router

i can't seem to get my PS2 online to work wiyh my router.
router is a linksys wireless-g cable gateway model wcg200
i've tried to change network settings on the PS2, i've tried to set the ports in the router configuration, ive got the PS2 in the DMZ in the router config.

when i set up the configuration on the PS2 the connectivity test says its good but when i try to get the game online it won't connect to server.

this works if i install my standard modem but not through the linksys one?
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

 

Can you access any websites via the Linksys (Google, Yahoo, MSN)?

If so, then I would say you need to go back and check your port settinging in the router.

Probably if you listed what game and what ports are being used, and what you have configed on the router, someone may be able to help you.
