Help with removing Virtumundo please

Hi there!

i'd like to ask someone to help me to remove this malware from my computer. i've ran trough all of the removers and anti-virus stuff you suggested (except the alternate scans) and it didn't solve my problems.
i have the same problem like others: adaware recognises Virtumundo, removes it but it comes back.
in addition a lot of the web sites download with an error (you know the little yellow trangle with an exclamation mark in the lower left corner of MIE)...i don't know if this is in connection with Virtumondo.
so i ask for your help, please!

Kodo - Don't mean to step on your toes, but I just want to copy and paste this for a bit more detail.

Please take a look at the threads in the link Kodo gave you for more info. They will acquaint you with the removal process.

If you still need some help, then I would ask that you please take a run through the Cleanup Tutorial that he also linked. It will remove a lot of crap that would otherwise clog up a HijackThis Log.

Note the steps that you can and cannot complete. Please make sure that you are in Safe Mode with System Restore OFF (if you have it) and have the Viewing of Hidden Files ENABLED as per the instructions in the link. Make sure to do the Online Scans.

Post back with the results from the above instructions and we’ll go from there. Please send us a HijackThis Log with your post.

Note that your HijackThis should be up-to-date (v1.98.2) and MUST be extracted to its own safe folder - C:\Program Files\HijackThis!

Also note that, before you scan, you MUST close all running programs including your web browser, e-mail and items in the system tray.

Please save your HJT Log and attach it via the "Manage Attachments" tool in the Additional Options section when you post.

Send us a log and we'll go from there - Kodo or I will check Back when we get a chance.
