Does anyone know how to disable the "boot in safe mode" setting in the boot.ini file when you can't remember the username and password for Administrators ?
My wife's PC has aTrojan and I followed the steps to remove it . However I didn't realise her PC has never been in Safe Mode and no one at her company IT dept can remember what the Administrator Username and Password were for her PC. I have tried all the versions her IT guys could think of but her PC remains dormant !. It doesn't help that her PC is in Australia and the IT guys are in Minnesota !.

Thanks for the advice. I should have used it sooner. I actually solved my problem with www.loginrecovery.com shortly after I posted
