Help with Skype

I tried installing Skype but got this error message,
Cannot create the directory 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Skype\Pictures.' A file with this name already exists. Please rename or remove the file and click Retry, or click Cancel to exit.
...I looked for the file, but could not find it.
Any help would be appreciated.

 

Try CCleaner. Analyze Windows, run cleaner and Registry (make a backup of the latter) to remove all remnants of Skype. http://www.majorgeeks.com/CCleaner_Slim_No_Yahoo_Toolbar_English_d4191.html

If that doesn't help, try Revo Uninstaller, search for Skype and remove the remnants and possibly registries as well. http://majorgeeks.com/Revo_Uninstaller_d5706.html

Then try to re-install Skype.

 

Application Data is normally a hidden folder and its contents are also. Unhide it and try again.
