Help with Task manager!!!

    I need some help with my task manager when I hit Ctrl + Alt + Del a message comes up and says "Task Manager has been disabled by the Administrator". I have no clue how to fix this error I have looked on other forums but, no help there. Please help me with this error.

    Sorry guys, forgot to tell you my OS is Windows XP home edition.:rolleyes:

    Do you have the Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
    key in you registry ? you can get it here

    Make sure you back up your registry frist

    in the registry editor click on my computer and export from the sub menu. save it to somewhere you will remember
