Help with video card bios

I want to flash my VisionTek XTasy ATi Radeon 9600 with 256MB. I was looking around and found many bios's so do I have to have the same memory requirements or can i just use any bios? HELP IM A NOOB WITH VIDEO CARDS!! i have tried softmodding it with no succes and i use the OMEGA drivers v. 2.5.71 and radliker and ATi Tool btw

 

It has to be the 9600 pro to mod to the XT me thinks..... Or maybe not... Im not too big on bios flashing. just OCing !

 

well if i do... do i have to have the same memory thing like requirements to do it or can i use pretty much any bios like 9800 bios's and stuff like that... i really want my card to perform A LOT! better than it is now so help!

 

Don't do it, its not worth it, and sorry to say but if you have to ask which to use its not gonna turn out good.

 

took the words right out of my mouth,,a bios is incredibly particular to the card it can be used for,I doubt anyone on here has flashed a 9600 you would have much more success searching overclocking sites for someone who has attempted it with success and the payoff worth it "which I highly doubt it will be"
