Bitdefender if I remember correctly also like trend have a free online scanner try that ( will be on their Home Page somewhere ) and if it says it cannot remove the trojan ... post the location thats if it actually tells you it.... may help in manual removal.

slot of the time when AVs cannot remove Virii/trojan is because the are inside System Restore so turn off SR > re-boot and scan again... remove anything they tell you reboot scan again to make sure then if ok turn SR back on.

A safe mode scan may help. Try that first. Otherwise, once you find them, you might need to get to running processes by hitting ctrl alt & delete, check the processes tabs, see if the infected files are running and stop them. Optionally, check MSconfig (start, run, type msconfig and enter) to see if those file names are loading at startup. Again, do this from safe mode.

If a file is running, as many trojans can be on startup, it can not be deleted because Windows thinks it is in use. This protects a lot of important system files as well and these viruses are taking advantage of that.

Let us know! We may need a hijack this log file if all the above was of no help.

Presumably you followed Major A's advisories. But which please for the benefit of all of us for future reference?.
Glad you got it out though
