    Greetings Geeks -

Am having trouble with my wireless Bluetooth headphone sound setup. Here is my problem:

Sometimes the device connects fine, sometimes it does not. Occasionally, it will connect okay as far as sound quality is concerned, but the system sound still comes through the speakers and I have to turn that off. Other times, it does connect, but the sound is crackly and it sounds muffled, similar to being underwater. I have tried connecting through the control panel, but that is spotty too. This same setup worked flawlessly on my old Win 7 setup.

    My hardware is as follows:

    Win 8.1
ASRock AS1M MB - using onboard sound
    SX-9070C headphones
    Broadcom BCM92070 Bluetooth dongle

Any ideas as to how to what the problem is and how to get things working properly?

    Thanks for any help.
