Help with Windows XP Firewall...

My firewall states that my anti-virus program is out of date. Now, there seems to be multiple anti-virus programs on my computer. I would like to use WinAntivirus 2006, but it looks like there is a memory problem within my computer that doesn't allow it to run properly. Not sure if the memory problem is for this program or not. I have looked in my add/remove programs list and I can't find any of those programs. I had etrust anti-virus but have removed it, but it was stilll coming up in the bootup process.

Also looking for a program that will tell me what programs are using my memory and how much.

 

What AV programs do you have?
Multiple AV's will create conflicts and false positives when scanning.

 

Not sure, is there a program that can give me a listing of these types of programs. I would like to do a complete uninstall for this or have a program show me how to completely remove these programs.

 

You can view what Processes are eating memory up and then you can search for the process to find which Application is using it. You can sort the processes by CPU and that will show what % of memory resources are being used by what process. A couple of links for Identifyng individual processes:
