I own a Dell CPI Latitude laptop that is installed with Windows XP Professional. I have over 300 MB of music saved to it but other than that i have no neccsary files i need to keep. I recieved the computer used and have no start up disks. Also all of my system restore points have been wiped. The worm that i currently have also manages to elude (i apologize for grammatical error but i can't remember spelling for that word...) all my anti viruses. I've decided that i'd prefer to completly wipe it and start over. Is there anyway to do that without the start up disks? I just want to begin like new again. Any and all help would be useful!

    Thanks, Jonathan

You'd be better off finding the worm and deleting it, rather than wiping the hard drive, since you don't have an os disk. You should go to the malware section and do what it says under the read and run this first ..... an online scan may be able to locate the worm so you can manually get rid of it.
