Help with XP Pro Installation

I just bought a new laptop that had Vista installed on it. I created a new partition and wanted to install XP Pro S2 on it, but I'm running into a problem. It gives me three options, install, repair, or quit. When I tell it to install it says "setup cannot find the end-user liscence agreement", and then it reboots.

I did some digging around and found that the most common reason for this error is trying to install on a FAT32 drive, but when I set up my partition I set it up as an NTFS, so that's not the problem. Also, on Microsoft's website it says that this can happen if an OS other than XP partitioned the drive. The fix is to have XP partition it before the install, but I don't think this is the problem either. I get the error before I even have the chance to direct it to a harddrive or a partition, so I have the feeling that it has nothing to do with the drive at all.

Also, I'd like to note something that may be important. My XP Pro disc is not your usual XP disc. It is a Volume License version with XP Pro and Vista Enterprise on it. Also, since the SATA drivers weren't on the disc I had to make an image of the disc and streamline the drivers in with nlite (since I don't have a floppy drive on the laptop). Another words, I'm not even using the original disc. Theoretically this shouldn't matter because its a direct copy of it, but I thought I'd note it just in case it's important. After rereading the above it kinda sounds like I have a bootleg copy of it or something. This is not the case. My CD is 100% authentic and it's a Volume License version because I got it from work.
