HELP!!Wrong program!!!!!

HELP!! I downloaded the intel monitoring program from major geeks to my Dell 5150 .I didn't intend to use it for that but send it to my friend for him to use. But my daughter accidently opened it and i guess the self installer ran the program??/ she said she didn't do anything besides click on it. Anyway she said the screen went blank and says no signal and it won't reboot. The "on" button now turns yellow and nothing happens!??? Help Please!! I hope it ain't dead!! I have some Really Important work on it and don't want to lose it if possiable!!! I need help really quick!! Thank god i have my laptop!!!!

 

WHEEW!! I tried an old trick of removing the power cord and draining all the juice from it ...and it worked! I'm not sure what went wrong but i assume the intel program wasn't made for Dell's (duh). thanks for everyone checking this post out, maybe someone can still tell me what went wrong??DISASTER AVERTED!!
