help!!!!

    my computer keeps freezing and shutting down when then switch it back on it wont load but if i leave it with the power switched off for 10mins it will then start up but it is very slow can anyone help?

    What are the specs of your system?

    What are you doing when it is freezing?

    its p3 running xp home i have done defrag virus scan but its so slow and if i use any programmes that need a lot to open thats when it freezes, is it time to throw this one away and get a new one lol:mad:

    how much RAM u got? anything below 512mb will be pretty slow in XP
