my other lap top crashed and the lights come on like its trying to start but nothing happens and i can hear the thing runing but no picture. just be for it crashed i had a massage flashed at me that there was a virus and the computer wanted to put it in the vault so i clicked on ok and it did what it does with it. And then it flashed me a message that something had failed and everything got like 2 or 3 inches tall and the computer said that it needed to shut down and than it froze so i pushed the power button to make it turn off and now it wont come back up it wont do anything. did my mother board go out .Can it be fixed or am i just out 500 dollors

 

By your own statement you have a virus, most viruses can be cleaned out of your system with work. However you have have to be able to see what you are doing to get to that point but your screen went dark. Try booting in safe mode to see if you can at least get something other than a blank screen. When you start your computer push the f8 key

 

when you got your computer did you get a system disk or did you make a back up disk?
