Help!

hi,
everytime i try to turn my dell dimension 2350 on it goes to a "lsass.exe"i want reboot my whole computer, i dont mind loosing everything on there as it is old, everytime i go to turn the computer on it goes to the error page and the only option is to close the box then goes to a blank screen, please could someone tell me how to reset the whole computer, thanks.:confused

That is most likely malware causing this on your computer.

If you want to format and re-install windows you are going to need the install disc, and your windows product key!

hey, yeah i have the install disc, not sure what a product key is lol

 

with a Dell the product key is usually on a bar coded sticker on the PC
It will be a 24 alpha numeric sequence like TQX7 - QAD3R - etc etc etc

You say you have "fixed it" do you mean you have reinstalled windows or you have stopped seeing the "lsass.exe"?

If you have reforamtted and installed then you are fine and good to go...

BUT if it has just stoppped showing that problem, then you really need to make sure your PC is clean!
