Help

I bought a Cyber Power about 6 month's ago I started having a issue when turning the computer on the case comes on all lights and fans running but nothing comes on the screen. or I get the cyber power splash screen then every thing shuts down and restarts. and some times it boots up like it should. I've tried reseating the video card, and changing the card now they want me to send it back to them. I know that means I would be with out a computer for about a month. I really don't want to do that. any help would be appreciated.

 

I recommend sending it back. I understand being without a computer for awhile is a big inconvenience, but you really don't want to do anything that would void the warranty.

Looking around it seems sometimes the powr supply will give this sort of problem with these computers- could be worth checking the ram sticks- sometimesone not quite seated correctly could play up.

However, if you want to try perhaps putting in your Windows disk/usb (ifyou have on), and running the repair option,in case its a bad update sticking- Incidently, if it is a badupdate that has not gone right, I have found that restarting several times can force it to go back, and uninstall itself- I mean hard shut down with button, not letting it do it itself.
Good luck, I understandwith many confined to home, being without your computerfor a few weeks could be a bit trying.
