Hi there SMT. Not too much new. Meandog, one of ours, is in critical condition and could use your prayers if you're a praying person. Star & Abby and other Florida members are waiting to decide which way to jump with another hurricane rolling toward them.

And Lugz is STILL bored.

Doing about the same as always. No real need for a PM, I've got no secrets to share. Working an earlier shift this week & next due to others' vacations, so I'm having to be a good boy and go to bed early... for a change. Now THAT's hard.

I've got to do a pile of bills before bedtime, so my stay will be disgustingly short tonight.

Did you manage to have your vacation? Glad to hear you've been getting rest.

Bills suck. I have been hiding from my pile. I know they want their money but I just don't have the time to sort it out.

 

What vacation? I had a week in January, and I get another week for Christmas. Between that is just a lot of work. In 2006 I get THREE weeks of downtime. I can't wait.

 

Where would you place your third week of vacation?

Seems this place has changed a little. New faces too.

Somewhere in the middle? LOL. Actually, January (in Chicago!) was not a first choice. It was a family get-together that I just couldn't miss. Christmas is California with my parents and my sister; I wouldn't miss that one. Other than Christmas (my folks are getting too old for long distance travel) I'd rather take vacation when the weather's nice, although family obligations can come first.

 

Easter is fairly nice weather and also a family event. Maybe spend a week for Easter with your parents.

Just south of LA, most any time is nice weather... including Christmas (was mostly in the 60s-70s last Christmas I spent there), but I'm open. Depends on what all is going on that particular year.

Honestly, I like what I do for a living, so I don't desparately look to get away. Other than seeing friends/relatives and doing something fun, I'm happy doing what I do generally. I'm pretty easy to please.

And I'd better go chip away at the bills for a while. Good to see you around; will do so again later.

 

I like what I do too but it's nice to take a break and refresh myself. Seems I took a little longer than I should to refresh myself this year.

Ive been really bussy in school. I have a goal of getting a 4.0 GPA this semester so it is takeing a lot of work. Next week i am going to start a term paper on "The music of the Vietnam War." At last we get to pick our own topic!

Keep working hard! Most students really appreciate the work you do. I know i do!

Im off to bed. I cant stand getting up at 5am
