Help?

Ok I got a reliable computer, but I want to upgrade it. I have recently been opening it up to see what kind of hardware it has. I have a cognac motherboard socket 370, with a 566MHz celeron processor. I have bought new RAM. When I first bought it, it had 64MB. Now it has 384MB. The most I can install as I know is 512MB. I bought a video card to try and make it go faster. It worked but still goes slow. I want to upgrade the processor, but I need help on if I can install a new 1Ghz celeron or Intel Pentium 3 processor. I recently saw on a webite that said the max it could handle was 800MHz. Is this true or can I upgrade it to the 1GHz or more. depending on ur mobo you will be limited to what size CPU uu can get. if you want a bigger CPU then your mobo must be able to support it. form what you are saying it looks as if you are going to need a new mobo too if u upgrade ur CPU. what mobo do you have ?

i dont think u can replace it with a much faster one.... not really worth it, but since this is posted in the Overclocking forum u might wanna consider overclocking it to say... 800mhz?
