Help!

When I start up my computer it goes directly into Dos mode. It says:

The following file is missing or corrupted: C:\Windows\IFSHLP.Sys

The following file is missing or corrupted: C:\Windows\System\VMM32.VXD
Type the name of the Windows loader(e.g., C:\Windows\System\VMM32.VXD)

I have tried everything, but nothing seems to function. Did a google search to try to figure it out on my own, with no real results. I don't have a start disk from floppy, just my Windows ME CD which I have no idea how to boot from in Dos mode to correct the error.

Any help would be much appreciated!

You lost these files or they maybe put at bad tracks....
you can extract these files from OS setup disk, copying these files from another Computer with same OS or using System recovery
