help!!!!!!=[

    okay...my lil bro was playing a game last thursday and had to reboot my computer 3 times because of a problem. now i boot up my computer and something gows like this:

    Physical Disks Status:

    Drive Model: Error Occured

    so then then it asks me if i wanna boot to windows xp and so i do that and when i log on into my acount this message pops up: to help protect your computer Windows has closes this program. Name: Windows Explorer. Publisher: Microsoft Corporation....

    this message always pops up and my computer is messing up now...is there a way a can fix this...i already tried to restore it but that didnt work...plz someone help me:)

    Hi!
    Is this game online or installed on the computer?
    If installed...uninstall it.
    The problem you describe sounds like 'DEP' and you can read about it HERE:

    reformating should probably be your last resort.

    Although reformating will fix anything software related.

    Have to agree if it turns out to be "hardware" related well you've just wasted your time and not resolved anything, exhaust every other avenue firstly.

    lol actually i really need to reformate...im planing to do that today if i can figure out how....im jst a kid ok not an adult:)

    I say go for the format. Just back up your stuff and then pop in the good old xp disk. If it is a software problem then it will be fixed. If your computer still has the same symptoms as before the format, then you automatically know it is hardware related. It will take a while to do it, but i think you'll fix your problem.

    haha well..i jst noticed..i poped me xp home edition from my other computer...but mine is media center so it wudnt allow me reformat but my dad said there was no disk for media center and its in the hard drive...do you guys know how to reformate a media center edition? yea im such a noob at this but o well ill learn
