Helping a freind build a PC?

Ok so my boss wants some help building a computer. He is willing to spend 400-500$. All he wants is a descent processor (AMD), 40-80 gig hard drive, a DVD / CD Burner, Some type of flash drive. Thats about it. The rest of the PC Can be anything if anyone can help find something it would be nice.

 

for that price you're better off going with a prebuilt because if u build it yourself u gotta buy a $100+ copy of Windows XP (or vista)

basics:

core 2 duo
1 gig memory
200+gig hdd (they are getting really cheap now)
what is he gonna be doing with it? he may be able to get by with onboard video
flash drives u can get real cheap with rebates from www.tigerdirect.com

thats about all ya gotta worry about with prebuilts. if still wanna build it yourself then lemme know and ill help ya out
