Helping a friend with Hijack this

    Have a friend who states her computer is "messed up". I asked her to run Hijack this and here is the log. It is important to note that her computer will not let her install any new programs for the most part and neither Adaware nor Spybot will run properly.

    Here is the log and I would appreciate assitance in a fix.

    Have you tried installing Ad-Aware or Spybot from safe mode? Hijack This is not a removal tool, but could help you identify a problem and is a good step to run at some point if you understand it. I would try from safe mode as well as some trojan scanning and making sure WindowsUpdate is current per the tutorials here:

    Sorry for posting the file. I wasn't aware that it wasn't appropriate. I will try getting her to work in Safe Mode. Thanks for your help.
