My niece is having trouble with connecting to my WiFi. It keeps telling her "Unable to connect to this network" and she has the password correct because she was signed into it and just one day she could no longer sign in. She contacted NetGear and they told her it was due to Malware on her laptop and it and my IP was riddled with malware. I know it is an old laptop, 4 or 5 years old, but it is running windows 10. She did RUN ME FIRST post with me and here are her logs.

Please remove the items found by MBAM.

Reboot and rescan with MBAM as well as ADWCleaner and attach both logs.

You also need to attach the log from running MGTools > MGLogs.zip.

I need the new log from running MalwareBytes. And also need you to tell me how things are running now.

The two above are both ADWCleaner logs. All of her network protocols appear to be working.

Please go here > At the very bottom of this page ==> https://www.zemana.com/Download
... second column from the left under AntiMalware > Features..... FREE AntiMalware

It auto updates, and you click scan. After it's finished, click on the icon that looks like Cell phone strength bars. High-light the report (by date log was produced) and click on the "Open Report" icon. (looks like a folder). That notepad.txt can then be copied/pasted into another .txt doc and saved. Upload that, please.

I think the MB log is the one you want and the zemana log also.

I thought I did. On rescan it said nothing was found. You know that last MBAM log was from the first run I just forgot to load it in the first set of logs.

It was in the first set of logs.

Please tell me how things are running now if those items are now removed.

Do I remove the scanners and such that I downloaded to do all the scans on my LapTop or leave them on it?

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    3. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have re-enabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    4. Now go to the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 or 10 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    5. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    6. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

Ok I am helping with running the SpywareBlaster But it says the protection against Google is blocked and wants me to allow protection. Now it gives me 2 choices... 1 Protect against checked items and 2 Remove protection for unchecked items. Also I don't know what to check or uncheck. Now everything is checked by default. is there any clues that might make this easier?
