Have a go at sorting this one out I have been told that it was part of the entrance exam for the FBI.

A fit healthy man goes into a hospital and has his left arm amputated. The arm is then packed in ice to preserve it. The man and his arm then board a plane and fly to a foreign country where he is met by four other men. They then drive to an area where they dig a hole and bury the amputated arm that had been preserved in ice.
The men then all return to the plane where they board and return to there homes.

    The question is why?

    Will post answer later.

    Heres the story......

The man in question was a medical officer in the Army whilst flying over the Jungle in Vietnam their plane crashed and he found himself stranded in the jungle the wrong side of the enemy along with 4 other men who also survived the crash. After they had been there for a few weeks they started to run out of food and going out hunting was not an option as the rescue squad was making their way that location. So in order to survive they had to do something and the only option they had was to eat human flesh. As the man in question was a medic he was given the job of removing an arm from each of the suriving people. Before hed done this he promised that if they survived he would have his own arm removed.
So after they were rescued and they all had recovered he had his arm amputated flew back to vietnam and met the other surviving people where they all went back to the crash site and buryed his arm to honour the promise that he made.
    Strange but true.

Unless being in the FBI means you have to make massive assumptions in order to be in the force...

That doesn't really test anything other than a lucky imagination, really.
