hey, can anyone recomend a program to rip stuff from browser to hardrive

I was wondering if anyone knew of a freeware program I could use to save files viewed on the internet, like flash movies and stuff, to my hardrive?
I mean you can't just right click save as, but there must be some way around that?

What browser do you use?
Here is a solution if you have Firefox, for flash movies which are embedded on the web page. (not for streaming or encapsulated files)

I use IE but I used firefox before I last reformatted
