Was showing Kolya a couple of pictures of MG folks earlier today and clicked on yours and she said, "There's GARY!!" You made a lasting impression there. Thought you'd like to know

And Goldy, she really liked your voice.

 

Did I scare her that badly???

She might not recognize me without a mustache.

She's got a good memory for a little one.

I still remember that trip fondly, despite the miserable weather. I thought I was gonna freeze to death walking to that restaurant.

 

I'll have to find the picture of you with no mustache and show it to her and ask her. She's pretty good. She looks at the pictures of Eric with long hair and knows right off that it's Daddy and same with the pictures of me as a teenager.

Yeah, unfortunately, Siam happens to be on what we all believe to be the coldest corner of the city. Somehow the wind just whips through there.

So, when are you coming up again? You know you're welcome anytime.

 

Sadly, it's likely to be a while. I get two weeks vacation per year, (for another 1.5 years anyway) and that week was my first one, and I'm promised to be in southern California for Christmas with my folks. That's all the vacation this year. Makes for a looooooong year.

Of course, if you guys ever get down this way....

 

Just listened to your kids talking from the audio thread. They still sound sweet. It's great to put some voices with folks we've been talking with.

 

Drexel's turning into quite the chatterbox lately. He's gotten into that "copy everything that Kolya says" phase. She's about ready to slug him for it. I keep reminding her that he does it because he thinks she's the coolest thing in the world. (which he does) That calms her until the next time he does it. I probably could have gotten him singing "twinkle twinkle" too. They both got a big kick of hearing their voices over the computer.
