This is my 1rst post, so excuse me if it is the wrong place. I have a HP Pavilion 734n and I want to reformat the hard drive. I did not get a Recovery CD with it, instead they partitioned a section of my drive(Labeled D) as the recovery section. I was just curious had to go about using this partion to reformat my main C drive. Is it just going to be hit F10 to enter the screen during startup. If anyone has any information or has done this before, please let me know. I appreciate any advise. Below is my computer stats. Thanks in advance.

You can start the Recovery from F10 or even in Windows itself via PC Help and Tools in All Programs. Once it begins choose a Destructive Recovery and it will do it itself.
