Thought you all might like to know.

I went out on the edge and ordered three bottles of laser toner refill off Ebay ($17.50, that's all it was) for my Samsung ML-1740. Now, most cartridges, I'm told, have to be cut open in order to do a refill; a lot of companies are sealing the fill plugs once the toner's put in the cartridge during manufacturing. This way YOU can't save money and refill it...well, at least not very easily...like having to cut open the fool cartridge.

Anyway, my cartridge did NOT have to be cut open, so that was a plus. The plug came out, but it's a little bit beatened up. Hopefully it will last another filling or two (the toner company only recommends two refills.)

So far, the printer works beautifully. It was messy, however, but I've learned how delicate toner is, so I'll be more careful next time.

Anyway, thought you all might like to know.
