On a brighter note, the Ducks beat the Sooners...just....totally amazing game

 

On a even BRIGHTER note, the Bears won 34-7 against Detroit

 

and the Broncos pulled out a very ugly came vs. KC

 

That's not so much a brighter note... We didn't even bother to watch the last quarter, it was too painful. Instead, we went out and enjoyed one of the last nice days on the deck at the bar.

 

too bad the sooners got screwed on the loss (no, i'm not a sooner's fan). it was a good game up to the final 2 minutes, then the refs took over and handed the win to oregon. but, ou shouldn't have been in the position to lose the game by one. their defense still needed to step up. i'm glad oregon won, i just wish it was outright. now i gotta listen to the sooner fans whine about this one the rest of the year (t. tech anyone?).

i know exactly what i mean...grew up in stillwater...an AVID pokes fan...i've had to weather the storm, so to speak, forever. sounds like we're on our way up though...thanks to mr boone and his money.

 

it was a terrible call...should have been overturned immediately. in fact, i was at a restaurant when it happened, watching from across the restaurant I could tell the ball didn't go 10 yards. what i didn't see, though, was the ball being recovered by ou.

HOWEVER...if OU expects to get back to dominance, they have to overcome adversity. They gotta cut the whining and crying, and move on. being in oklahoma, this is all that i've heard about for 4 days straight, and being an OSU fan, the excuses are getting old.
