   What OS are ye running? 95, 98, me, 2k, xp, vista?
   
   If 2k, xp, or vista ye can set permissions on the files, to prevent them from being deleted from other users.
   
   XP home will require a boot into safe mode and using the administrator account.
   XP Pro is a different matter.
