Hi all

    I have a question.How do you get ahold of someone at Major Geeks to complain about a download.Yesterday my wife spent 5 hours on dial up trying to download PC anti virus.It was corrupt.Today i did the same thing 5 hours for nothing.I thought this place was better than that.Mark

    The program is not corrupt, although it may have become so during the download time or the problem could indicate an issue with your ram.

    Hi

    Dependant on what Antivirus you downloaded, many are over 10mb in size and for dialup that at times is a strain, if you can link to exact application you where trying to download we can test it. If it was PC Tools Antivirus as a guess I downloaed and installed it ok off the FL link.

    However for dialup I would suggest for larger applications is to use a download manager, a suggestion is Download Express as its free and small to download

    Thank you for your reply.I was not given the option for choosing the download site,i was directed to Pctools.com.When i do download from here i always choose florida due to it being the fastest.Thanks for the link.Mark

    Hi Mark

    Just incase you have not managed to get PCTools AV, I'm guessing it may have been one of the inline adverts you may have clicked that took you direct to PCtools.com, but we do have the antivirus listed here and at the FL download link http://majorgeeks.com/PC_Tools_AntiVirus_Free_Edition_d5469.html

    if you do have any issues then fire an email to one of the owners as TimW pointed out above and he will be able to assist, or let us know in the forums and we will do our best to help.
