Hi everyone

    Well i am very much a pc novice. I live in Finland and i would like some help please.

    I have an Amilo L1300 laptop and i have increased the RAM in the machine. It was 512 and i have placed there another 512. The problem is i dont see any improvement. Is there a way to check that it has been recognised? Is there some procedure i must follow in windows to complete the installation?

    Your help and time is very much appreciated:)

    Welcome to Majorgeeks! :)

    Goto Start --> Settings --> Control Panel.

    Double Click on System

    In the system properties dialog it should display the amount of memory you have.

    Yeh Hi! :)

    You should also see the amount of RAM displayed as you boot the PC before Windows starts.
