Hi-Grade Windows installation problems

VA250D model

Problem is, when trying to install windows xp home edition it runs until roughly about 58-59% and you get AUTOFMT.EXE could not be copied and your selection of options (continue, retry, skip etc)

Now when i select retry it goes through fine and the same situation occurs with IRPROpS.CPL then select retry then it continues up until 80-89% then crashes into BSOD CDFS_FILE_SYSTEM any ideas for a repair solution?

May have found a fix jus tryed to isntall xp pro and its went thru all apart from syssetup.dll but will attempt to grab th file from a d/l and flash drive it onto the hard drive....await replys )

I am wondering what type of Windows XP Home install you performed.
Did you delete your partitions and do a re-install of XP - or is this is an OEM re-install and are you re-installing from a Restore partition? Other?
