hi guys, strange problem here windows media player

hi guys, strange problem here
windows media player crashes as soon as its opened
i get the grey box which gives me the options to either
send error report,
dont send
or debug
whatever i click it terminates wmp11
this happens wether i click a file inside my music or if i open wmp directly
i deleted 11 and went back to using wmp10 and the problem went
i reinstalled 11 and problem comes back
im running xp home
how can i listen to my pink floyd without media player working, its a pain in the rectum

ive already reinstalled it, went back to media player 10 for a while and everything was fine, then accidentally rinstalled mp11 and problems came back
anyone got any ideas?

I tried MP11 for a while and it kept glitching in the oddest ways for me.
I reinstalled MP10 and haven't had any problems since.
Sometimes I think the programmers at MS are under a quota system and they release things before they have worked half the bugs out of them.
Personally I think the best example of this is Vista, but I know there are many who do like it.
