Hi, I want to build my own PC

I'd like to take the leap and build my own instead of just buying .. :cool

I would appreciate any advice as to how to go about it. Where do I start?

I use a puter for general stuff, some office apps, keeping my life on track, and would like to be able to morpeg when I want without lag...lol

 

Hi, so you at least have an idea of what you want to do. The other main question would be 'How deep are your pockets?' Post that in the hardware section plus any other preferences in the hardware forum.

So to begin with you need to decide how much power you want from this new build and then decide how much you want to spend (the sky's the limit)

If you are going to build a power PC you need a case that has good ventilation and a good power supply, after that make a list of other components and surf around the net for reviews on each price.
We can give you plenty of advice but we do need to know your limits on spending.

As suggested post in hardware and you will get help in abundance.

If your going to be using it for general low usage tasks then a good price bracket would be $400-600.

Thank you very much for giving such web sites. I think it will be helpful for those people who really don't know about how to build a PC. According to me first you should decide your cost of PC and then go for suitable configuration which u want in your own PC.
