    Had my desktop hijacked...
the source of the files are in the windows/web directory, and everything is able to be cleaned, except for the desktop.html file, which seems to be invisible
screen now left white, and properties brings up this:
    file://C:\WINDOWS\Web\desktop.html

p.s. ran cwshredder, removed 5 cw variants
    ran ad-aware-13 goodies removed
ran A2-found a few but nuttin special
ran spybot-S&D, removed a few things
ran hi-jack this, this is what i get:

    sorry guys, figured it out,
thank god for this forum, it was pretty simple once i knew where to look for it
it was in display properties, desktop, customize desktop, web(in desktop items)
it was listed as (security)...just check the box, click delete and say goodbye to that crap
    Also locked the desktop afterward
