Hi Need a little help.......

    I need a little help with some thing.Im looking for a few programs that are free if able and are able to lock down an hard drive so only i can use it as Admin.And all so able to lock some programs so no one can use them but me.And maby a password for Internet Explorer



    Windows XP SP3
    Hd 160 gig
    Hd 320 gig
    2.0 GHZ Pentium (R) 4
    2 GB Ram.

    Are you talking about locking down a non-system hard drive? For instance you have XP loaded on your 160GB HD and you want to lock up the secondary 320GB so only the Admin can access files stored on it?

    I'm sorry, I was going to say just turn off Simple File Sharing and change permissions but that option is apparently only available in XP Pro. If you are using Home version, I'm afraid it doesn't appear turning off Simple File Sharing is an option.
