Just wanted to say hello and glad to see you are still fighting the good fight! I can't believe all the problems with Stopguard type infection since you first figured it out for me back in (?) September.

Nice to hear from you again! Hope you and your computer are well! Things are OK in my neck of the woods.

Good old StopGuard. . . .I'm still using pretty much the same procedure that you, Buzz & I worked out back then.

Lately there have been a TON of Virtumundo/Stopguard-related threads. We now have a Sticky Post for them (though some of the links are bad - Kodo will fix them). I still call them StopGuard problems - I think that they are misidentified by anti-spyware programs as Virtumundo. The two are a bit similar.

Chaslang is in Florida playing Baseball. I first started posting here just to kind of help out here and there where I could, but with him gone it's been hectic! I am spending waaaaaay too much of my free time here.

You probably should have posted this in the lounge - A moderator will probably move the thread. Although, if you had, I probably wouldn't have seen it! Luckily you just caught me checking in briefly.
