Hi, q about remaking threads

    Hello everyone. So I see I cannot bump a topic with which I still need help if I was the last poster. When is it appropriate for me to repost the topic if I still need an answer?

    I would not repost the question.

    I looked at your thread and it looks like Halo is trying to help. I would give it some time for him (or someone else) to come back and take a look. Since everyone is here on their spare time, sometimes it takes a little while for someone to come in and help out. Your thread has just gone a few hours without a response. That really isn't long enough to assume there won't be any.

    Oh I know, I'm not triyng to rush anyone - I know you're all being very kind volunteering help - but my last question never received a reply and I just wondered if there was a time thought of as "acceptable", say 3 days or 24 hours, or if it reaches page 10 or something.

    I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think if you have more information to add or if something from your original post has changed, its ok to add another reply to your question. However, at no time should you have more than one forum post for the same question.
