    When I hibernate my computer sometimes it starts by itself.

    What causes thus?

    I am running Win7

    Wake on LAN setting in BIOS.
    Software updating, particularly security programs; check the update settings on those.

    Could you be more specific in regards to what in fact doesn't work?

    I typed the info you gave and nothing happened.

    You have to go to a Command prompt first.

    From the START menu, type in cmd.exe and press Enter.

    At the command prompt, type what plodr showed you:
    powercfg -lastwake

    Note:
    there is a space after powercfg and a dash immediately before lastwake
