Im trying to make some .reg files to do certain things and what im looking for now is something that will disable "Hibernation" and "System Restore".

I wasnt sure on how to do these because I could find the registry entries that control these two, if theres anyone who could assist me into creating a .reg file that will do this please let me know.

    Thanks, Bj:)

    Disable System Restore

Not come across a reg hack for Hibernation tho, doesnt mean there's not one so bumping this to the top may jog someones memory.

but would it not be easier to just turn them off via their menus?

    SR
System Properties > System Restore > Tick "Turn off System Restore on all drives"

    Hibernate
Control Panel > Power Options > Hibernate tab then uncheck "Enable Hibernation"

Thanks for the response, I currently have to do it that way for now, what im doing is creating several batch and reg files to make it quicker. Right now I have reg files that disable all screensavers and disables system restore. I just didnt know where hibernation was in the registry. Any ideas would help.

    Thanks, Bj:)
