Hide My Histroy.co And Slow Computer

    Hi all, all scans attached. Issie is hidemyhistory.co has taken over chrome and basic things are crawling, like open up file explore is 2 minutes. Saving a word doc is 5 min etc.

    All requested logs are attached Thank you for your time.

    Please delete this in ADWCleaner:

    PUP.Optional.HideMyHistory Hide My History - A Private History Engine - jmknlinjedpcccephokgboefomnajkal

    I am not seeing any anti-virus software. Please install one.

    You need to empty your temp folders and clean up your desktop.

    After deleting the item in ADW, please reboot and rerun all the scans except MGTools. Then attach the new logs.

    I do have windows defender, does that count or no? How do I empty temp folders? I will rerun everything and post logs once I know how to properly delete temp folders. Thank you!

    1. Press the Windows Button + R to open the "Run" dialog box.
    2. Enter this text: %temp%
    3. Click "OK." This will open your temp folder.
    4. Press Ctrl + A to select all.
    5. Press "Delete" on your keyboard and click "Yes" to confirm.
    6. All temporary files will now be deleted. Note: Some files may not be able to be deleted.
