highest fps on CS

I was just wondering what the highest possible FPS on CS is, I keep hearing everywhere how to get 100, but I get like 250-300 on doom 3, is there any way to increase that instead of setting the Max_fps or w/e that is.

 

If you know how many fps you get in Doom 3 (which is AWESOME) i meand the fps not the game, how come you don't know how many you get in CS??? Also how do you know your fps is it a program or something???
