Hijack this question

Before doing a log the above says "It is very important that you close all running programs including your web browser (this includes Internet Explorer), email, items in the tray before running Hijack This!"

I have norton antivirus running on startup. Do I turn it off just by right clicking the icon in the systray and then clicking disable so that the red "X" appears on the icon, or is there more to do to turn it off?

 

All startup items need to be selected so they show in Hijack this, Whats the main important to close before running it is all browsers. Norton will be fine running just make sure all browsers are closed.
