HijackThis won't open

    I downloaded and installed HijackThis because it seems to be one of the most prominent and most useful programs on here for removing crap. The problem is, when I went to open it after installing it said it could not open because a required DLL file was not found. It said it couldn't find MSVBVM60.DLL.

    Just as a background, my computer has been infected with that whole "about:blank" thing. And among that it has a popup ad everytime I move pages on here and most of the popup ads are not very nice ones if you get what I mean.

    I've run adaware and spybot. I can't get Hijack this to work. Any suggestions?
