As above some more info will be needed and do answer the questions posted.


But as a thought if your browsing history is now gone from the previous days browsing then two things, in the browser you use, did you change the lenght of time that the history is kept?

In IE its Tools > Internet Options and under Browsing History is the "deelte browsing history on exit" ticked, and in same location click Settings and under History what the the number of days to keep history set too? (instrusctiosn are for IE8, so if another version menu locations maybe different)

In Firefox its in Tools > Options and the Privacy Tab (I'm using a development version of next generation Firefox so do let us know if your using Firefox and we can give more detailed instruction if needed)


Are you using a file cleaner like CCleaner? if you are then this is why your history is going, as it wipes all junk, temps, cookies and history, just need to run CCleaner and then in the Cleaner option and the Windows tab untick the cleaning of history.
