    BIGBAZZA,
Any way to get these to run automatically?

You have too many things running automatically as it is. (After reading your other post) Best to run them on your own each day. bigbazza is right, Ccleaner is very good.

I hope he is right about Clean Up because I just installed it and it was deleting things for about 8 minutes! It swiped my typed URLs which I didn't want but hopefully it hasn't deleted things I need.

Texan and others. I have been runnung these 3, in conjunction, for years without trouble. I run them nearly every day. Sorry about your URL's. I don't worry about this as I have my URL's in my favourites. I don't worry that it may wipe a cookie, eg logging onto MG, for the same reason. Remember, that if you set up one of the 3 to do a certain thing (or don't do a certain thing), you will/may have to set up the other 1/2 to do the same. If you set up CC to overlook certain tasks and don't set up Cleanup! the same way, the Cleanup! will probably delete 'em.

Each of the 3 finds stuff the other 2 miss. This is the reason I run all 3 daily. I have proved this, to myself, many times.

As for running these automatically, I don't think this is possible, or advisable. There are options (tabs) on each program that should be run and I don't know how it could be done.

Certainly CC and Cleanup! are more user friendly than EmpTemp, but they don't take long anyhow if you run them 3-7 times a week.

I once used Cleanup to delete 60,505 pieces of crap off a shop owner's PC after he returned from holidays. Motto is: Run them daily and defrag often. Bazza
